Are you looking for the perfect summer dish or treat? Then this is for you. Six delicious and unique recipes that will make your summer so much better!
Summer = berries, so make a berry cobbler

I’d honestly eat a berry cobbler any time of the year, but when berries are in season, and the sweetness is at its best, it tastes 100 times better. So if you’re anything like me and love berries and cookies, this berry cobbler is just for you. Berries with a delicious baked biscuit topping and a scoop of vanilla ice cream is a match made in heaven that nobody can afford to miss out on.
I’ve tried many different recipes trying to find the best berry cobbler, and this one by Sally’s Baking Addiction is by far my favorite. It is naturally sweet, has great textures, and tastes absolutely amazing!
When life gives you lemons, make a lemon cream cheese pound cake

You know those people who enjoy drinking plain lemon juice? Yes, that’s me, I am one of those people that eat lemon for pleasure, and chances are, that after you try this recipe, you’ll love them too. Now I know what you’re thinking, lemon and cream cheese? Cream cheese is an underrated ingredient in baking; it gives a sweet and tangy taste and more importantly, it makes cakes so moist and fluffy –who doesn’t like that? So as weird as it sounds, cake with lemon and cream cheese is a dream come true.
There are so many good recipes out there, but this Beyond The Butter one is my favorite, simply because of the perfect amount of lemon and the texture of the cake. It’s dense yet moist, and it has the perfect combination of flavors. One bonus, it’s super quick and easy to make!
Meet the summer spring rolls, summer rolls

Now, you may have never heard of summer rolls, but trust me, you need to try them. I tried my first summer role in Vietnam, where they are originally from, and my life changed forever. Summer rolls are a Vietnamese dish that consists of different meats and fresh vegetables wrapped in rice paper. There are so many variations, that there’s something for everyone. I personally love eating mine with vermicelli noodles and shrimp, but you could put anything in rice paper, dip it in peanut sauce, and it would taste amazing.
When I make mine, I don’t normally follow a recipe, but the first time I made them, used this Delish recipe, and what makes this recipe a 5-star recipe is the phenomenal peanut dipping sauce. You cannot pass on the peanut dipping sauce, it’s what brings everything together.
Berries+lemon=summer, strawberry lemonade is the only way to go

There is nothing better than an iced drink with lemon and berries on a hot summer day. This sweet, cold, and flavorful drink is perfect for a day by the pool with your friends and family. It brings together my favorite flavors in the perfect way and as a bonus, it also looks super good.
Honestly, every recipe I’ve tried gives quite similar results but what I love about The Recipe Rebels recipe is the decadent taste of berries. It uses strawberry and raspberry puree, which gives it a much more dense flavor than recipes with berry juice. Give it a try, and please don’t forget to drink it with ice!
Not just any pasta salad, it’s a Tuscan tortellini salad:

I saw this dish a couple of weeks ago and I needed to try it. For me, anything with pasta is a 10/10, but this Tuscan Tortellini Salad was a 100/10. Before making it, I had never tried a pasta salad with cheese tortellini but it adds such a special touch to the dish. It’s definitely more filling, and it’s a burst of flavor when you mix it with all the other ingredients.
This Delish recipe is the only recipe I’ve tried and I don’t think I’ll be trying any others because it’s perfect. The salad dressing which is a perfect combination of sweet and salty brings this dish together. I also love the sun-dried tomatoes and prosciutto, it really takes you back to a countryside lunch in Italy.
Don’t make the basic salsa, make a grilled pineapple salsa:

If you’re looking for a straightforward recipe to eat as a snack, this one’s for you! This grilled pineapple salsa is not like other salsas, it has pineapple! It’s a salsa that’s rich in fruits and veggies and makes a great appetizer to serve with nachos or some sort of bread.
This Delish recipe is my personal favorite; I love the use of grilled pineapple as well as peaches and jalapeños. The contrasting flavors of the sweet pineapple and peach and the tangy flavors of jalapeños make the dish special. If you’re not one for spice, it’s still delicious without jalapeños! I would recommend you give this a try, especially with nachos or in a taco!
