All sophomores at AISJ are on track to finding their passions and interests. “What do you want to do with your life?” – is a question all of us have encountered. Some many opportunities and prospects intrigue us. What is the best fit for me? To answer this question, you must first know what fascinates you, and for that, here is a list of careers and associated jobs, and their respective salaries, that might help you find your path:

1. Finance Careers

They say, “Money can’t buy happiness,” but managing and organizing others’ finances can bring a smile to your face. If you have those accounting skills, jobs in corporate finance, project finance, insurance management, and retail banking are especially for you! There are various high-paying jobs available in the finance industry. In the United States, the national average salary in the Finance sector is $74,850.

2. Technology Careers

The prophecy “the geeks will inherit the earth” may not have been authentic yet, but technical wizards are taking over lives and businesses. If you are tech-savvy, try considering jobs like application programmer, project manager, software developer, and software test engineer. In the US, the national average salary for the Technology sector is $91,250.

3. Operations Careers

Witnessing the contentment on a customer’s face after buying the final products might make you want to join the operations sector. Manufacturing includes an army of workers, operation managers, quality and control professionals who work towards ensuring a superior customer experience. 4. Legal Careers

Law made it possible to keep society civilized. To make sure the community is civilized, you can specialize in corporate law, criminal law, and tax law. The national average salary for the legal sector is $126,930 in the United States.

5. Healthcare and pharmaceutical Careers

If you are a natural helper, you could opt for jobs that ensure a happy and healthy living for others. A doctor, nurse, pharmacist, and surgeon are among those jobs that make you a superhero. The national average salary for the Healthcare and pharmaceutical sector is $126,930 in the United States.

6. Entrepreneurship Careers

If a regular, monotonous job is not your cup of tea, you may opt to open your creative side.
